Many of the questions that arise from women about relationships center on ways and strategies for getting their Ex back. We do, sometimes, get valid questions about coping with an ended duet. This is a really tough question that aims to mend a broken heart. There are no surgical procedures for this kind of life trauma. You simply have to live through it and find a way to get over it and get on with our life.
That said, there are, however, some simple things you can do to point your life in a positive direction. The first thing to do is take one last look at what happened in the relationship that you can learn from. In short, have one last retrospective analysis of the relationship and determine if it was truly for the best that things end – regardless of how they ended. Coming to grips with that element of historical perspective is priceless. We should like to offer this cute but significantly effective way to ‘nail the coffin’ on your ended relationship. We sincerely hope it helps.
Select a shoe box that houses your favorite pair of shoes – note, this is important – and place in it all remaining physical evidence of the relationship. Take any pictures, mementos, vacation brochures, or anything else that reminds you of him and gather them together. Wrap them and put them in the shoebox. Seal the box with tape and take it with you as you join your friends for a duet wake. This is a specifically invited group of friends – duly instructed to wear black – that agree to share a meal, the intention of which is to bury this ended relationship. Have a toast and vow to move on with your life. Finish the event by going to the nearest construction site and literally bury the shoebox in the mud. Take your friends with you; they will all love it!
Get up early the next morning and spend the entire day pampering yourself. This should include shopping, getting your hair done and anything else that spoils you. Finish your day with a planning process for the rest of your day – career, family, vacation, housing. Having buried the relationship – in more ways that you know – a truly dead relationship will stay dead throughout the night and you should awake rested and upbeat.
If you are more miserable than ever upon arising in the morning then the relationship – at least your end of the log – is not dead, and perhaps never will be. If you decide to try and get ex back from a breakup, or if you are planning to win your ex back, a thorough understanding of the strategies in our other articles in this series will help to get ex back.
